Here we have a first year Pinto. This particular Pinto was one of the most base models available, as it has the steel plug in place of the cigarette lighter. It took a long rest and is back on the road again. Sold on a clean Vermont Registration (Title Slip).
The exterior on this Pinto has a few dings and dents, and the paint is not very good, but it is rust free and straight underneath. It is missing the original grille, as well as the passenger door handle button, but everything else is there. It will need some new front tires coming up, and the rears are recommended for street only.
Inside it still has all of the original gauges all working properly and undamaged. It is missing a passenger door handle, and the entire rear seat panels were pulled out. The original radio is even in place but it is non functional. The seats are in very good condition with only a minor tear. Glove box comes stocked with original manuals too.
Under hood it has just recieved a ton of work. New Ignition System, wires, and plugs. Oil and fluids were just changed. Clutch adjusted, Valves adjusted. Carburetor fully rebuilt. New belts and hoses, and new water pump and alternator. New voltage regulator, new thermostat. Radiator was just re-cored. New brakes all the way around, new brake hoses and master cylinder too. Brand new keys too. Lots of little stuff also redone or replaced.
These early Pintos are getting difficult to find, especially so original. Don't miss this one! Turn it into an autocross car, drag car, or restore it!
