This MGB has seen better days and does show a bit of rust on the sills and door skins, but don't judge a book by it's cover. The engine starts right up, every gear is smooth, and it drives fairly well. It has a clean AZ title.
Finished in white with black top, this late B is a "rubber bumper" model. It is riding on the factory rostyle wheels and comes with a set of faux wire wheels. All of the tyres hold air but should be replaced.
The interior is actually in pretty good shape for an open top classic. There are some tears in the seats, and the dash has some cracks, but overall everything is intact. The Top does have a few rips, but will keep out rain (if we get any).
The engine does have plenty of power and makes good oil pressure, but burns a little oil if sitting for awhile. It has rebuilt HS2 carburetors in place of the problematic original Zenith carburetor, a large improvement. The ignition system in new, and it has also just received fresh fluids. An aluminum radiator has also been fitted. The brakes and clutch work, but we recommend bleeding the hydraulic system for improved performance.
Overall it is your standard MGB. It needs some love but would make an excellent first classic or project car.
