This early cooper has been totally reworked from the ground up. The shell is of a 1960 Mini, with VIN of a 1963. This "cafe racer" style Mk I Cooper is highly desirable in the Mini community. Boasting a powerful 1340 under the bonnet, it is sure to put a smile on your face. Clean AZ Title & British Heritage Certificate is present.

On the exterior of this lovely Cooper we find finished in a gloss Cherry red, with Old English White roof, and white bonnet stripes and "No. 7" Roundels on the doors. Up top the functional vinyl roof is covered by a white Monte Carlo style roof rack. Piano Hinge rear quarter-glass is fitted, along with dual side locking handles on the doors. Take notice of the real twin petrol tanks. The side has no flares, and is piped with chrome. Bumpers have over-riders and corner bars fitted. Tan Bonnet straps, a popular aftermarket option, have also been fitted. This is all sitting on 10" cream Cooper Vented Steel wheels, with newer Yokohama GT Special 350 period tyres.

Inside we find a very tastefully selected interior. Seats are the black vinyl low-back buckets, paired with matching rear bench. Carpet is Charcoal Lambswool. A Mota-Lita wood & Polished steel steering wheel sits atop a Mk I column. A deluxe style dash with Oval Centre Clock pod keeps all of the vitals close. Correct switches and knobs remain, as well as a centre key. If you take note of the windows, you will see this Cooper has its metal window catches still- a very hard thing to find.

Under the bonnet is where things get modified. Powering this Cooper is a custom built 1340cc Engine in plain-cloths. It is one of the fastest A series we have seen utilizing a standard 9 Stud 5 Port. This is fed thru an HS4 and High flow filter, that makes some wonderful noises. The gearbox is of the period Remote style, and everything shifts fast and smooth. This Cooper also retains it's remote Brake Servo, which works as good as the day it was purchased. The engine is also fitted with an oil cooler, to keep everything cool on hot summer days. This engine has just received a road tune, new plugs, wires, cap, and rotor, as well as an oil service. So worry not about issues.

This is one highly desirable Mini, and they are quickly becoming harder to find and more expensive. It would make a wonderful weekend racer, or show car, and can also (and is) be daily driven!

**Roof Rack not included in cost.
