This 1967 Austin panel van is a very original example of a Mk2 van. Featuring it's original 850 and magic wand combo, this would make an excellent restoration, or if looking for a budget friendly LWB model this would be a fantastic choice. It is priced to sell, and is offered as-is, or with a package deal to get it show season ready with our recommended items.

The exterior of this van is finished in an older coat of single stage tweed gray paint. It has some fading but a good cut and buff will bring out it's shine. A few dents and dings are present, but body is straight. Like all unrestored Minis, some of your typical A panel and floor pan rust in present, with various bubbles and cracks in the paint. But cleaned up it is still a great looking driver quality van. Everything rides on original 10" steelies with some older tires that we recommend replacing.

Inside is a surprisingly well kept interior featuring autumn leaf seats and door cards in great shape. The tan carpet is newer and compliments the grey nicely. The cargo area has been covered with a carpet mat to clean it up a bit, and features some storage doors underneath. Instrumentation is of the standard speedometer and fuel gauge, an honestly hard to find thing when it is commonplace to change to the Cooper S type binnacle. The parcel tray does have some tears on the drivers side, but in general the interior is decent with all of it's "base model" charm.

Power is delivered via an 848cc engine and magic wand gearbox. Slow and steady was the name of the game for these power units, with reliable although sluggish power. It makes up for it an strong running and smooth shifting, and has room for improvement with tuneups and upgrades. Brakes are standard drums all around, and the suspension system has seen better days, so either service and/or a disc conversion may be a smart idea. Most everything is original, so it would be a lovely car if your goal is to keep it stock.

We are offering this van for sale for a very low $14,000 as-is, or if interested in something a little more ready for the show season we are offering a package deal for $19,000 featuring disc brake conversion, full suspension overhaul, steering system rebuild, cooling system upgrade and hoses, engine service and tuneup, and a new set of tires! That way you can ensure it is ready to rock with a blessing from one of the top specialists in the country!
