This is the only gear oil we use here as it is a factory recommendation for most classic British cars. This is a proper GL4 (yellow metal safe) gear oil. This may be slightly more, but unless you want to be replacing your synchros and thrust washers this is the only gear oil you should be using!
 
Almost all commercially available gear oils are now GL5 and are NOT compatible with bronze components found in your British car's gearbox and/or differential. GL5 oils have a much higher sulfer content and these additives will react and eat away bronze!
