Replacement inner steering column for all 1984 to 1996 Minis. The steering column splines on classic Minis are often a point of failure, and can result in complete loss of steering cotrol- A very dangerous scenario. If you notice excess slop or wear in the splines where the column meets the rack, be sure to replace it ASAP. Be sure to replace the plastic bushes for a snug fit on reassembly!
 
This column can be made to work with earlier steering columns by using a new late style bush and modifying the outer column near the bottom. Mk1 columns will require drilling for horn push assembly.
