If looking for a late model project here is a choice base. This 1992 Rover Mini Cooper has a 1275cc SPI engine, 4 speed rod change gearbox, and A/C. Japanese market car, but has a spot of rust on top of door frame. Engine has low oil pressure. Available without powertrain for $6500. Currently not registered but import paperwork included with sale.

1996 Rover Mini

This late model Rover Mini has been modified to look like a Sebring style Mk2, complete with bumper delete, Mk2 lamps, early column, and trim kit. Originally an SPI car it is now powered by a 1275 fitted with twin HS2s and straight cut gears. Interior has been completely revamped, and the original A/C system has been updated with a Vintage air type unit inside. If you are looking for a cafe racer type Mini this is an excellent base!
