A very cost effective way to replace your classic Mini's battery box is this aftermarket replacement type. The battery box is a very easy component to replace. Simply drill out the existing spotwelds, or grind the flanges away, and lift out the old box. The new box can slide right in and get spot welded or MIG welded in place.
