This style boot (trunk) seal was used from about 1989 onwards, however it can be fitted on any year Mini if you wish to fit a bootlid with no holes drilled. This later style was fit to the lip of the body of the car itself rather than the lid. If your Mini's bootlid has holes around the perimeter use seal 14A6584. Be sure to place it with the split at the bottom to keep water out.
