Replacement bracket for Minis that were equipped with dual circuit and tandem master cylinders. It is identified by the slotting in the brake master cylinder hole, which is also oversized and the entire perimiter has a lip, and was fitted until the introduction of the servo systems around 1989.
 
This bracket does two jobs- acts as the master cylinder mounting plate, and holds the top half of the upper engine steady bar. Often they beome damaged with rust, or physically from engine mount play. Be sure to replace the sealing gasket to prevent leaks onto your feet!
