Fully rebuilt automatic transmission unit for late Rover Minis with 1275 engines that use an external oil transfer pipe. These featured a proper "park" gear selection unlike the earlier 998 models without a park position, and can also be identified by the starter inhibitor switch on the front cover of the gearbox itself.
This unit is fully reconditioned with new seals, gaskets, and friction plates. Both forward clutch and top/reverse clutch have been fully dismantled and rebuilt, servo pack rebuilt, valve body disassembled and cleaned before refitment, all worn bearings replaced, and bands have been checked and adjusted. The installer will be required to fit the torque converter seals and oil pipe transfer seals.
