This needle roller bearing was used on all Mini gearboxes on the big end of the laygear. Only one bearing was used on A+ laygears, however pre-A+ laygears used two next to eachother. It is strongly recommended to replace this bearing, along with the other needle rollers during any transmission repairs as they are one of the most common bearing failure points and can quickly destroy a gearbox.
