Replacement bracket for Minis that were equipped with factory brake servos from about 1989 onwards. It is identified by the lack of any slotting and half of the perimiter has no lip, so as to not interfere with the servo bracket.
 
This bracket does two jobs- acts as the master cylinder mounting plate, and holds the top half of the upper engine steady bar. Often they beome damaged with rust, or physically from engine mount play. Be sure to replace the sealing gasket to prevent leaks onto your feet!
